18日、ＷＴＴＣ実行委員会から大会公式マスコットの発表と、その名前の募集、中に入ってくれる人員の募集がありました。

【和訳】

世界選手権開催まで残り3週間となり、実行委員会では今大会を盛り上げていくための、大会マスコットを発表しました。

ただ1つこのマスコットには問題があります。

まだ名前が決まっていないのです。

一番面白い名前を考えてくれた人に大会の2日券をプレゼントします。

4月20日までにご連絡下さい。
（こちらは現在募集期間は終了しています）

キグルミを着て、マスコットになりたい方がいらっしゃいましたら、

氏名、年齢、身長を記入して、arjen.degroot@2011wttc.comまでご連絡下さい。

※但し身長165cm以上の方に限ります。

World Championships Mascot revealed
Just 3 weeks to go before the World Championships starts. To cheer the crowd and support the players we revealed an unique mascot for this great championships.

But... There is still something important we have to arrange. We don't have a name for the mascot yet. The person who gives the best and funniest name, becomes 2 free entrance tickets for this event.
